CYH provides a fun and inclusive introduction to the great sport of hockey for kids in Cambridge and our neighboring communities.  Whether your child is looking to learn to skate, learn to play hockey, refine their skills in hometown play, or join a travel team, we have a program or team for you.  Our home ice for practice and games is Simoni Skating Rink, located in East Cambridge.  Everyone is welcome at Simoni - come check us out!

Organized by CYH Bantams coach Tim Ryan, these on ice sessions in August will get players out of the summer heat and give a head-start to the 2024/25 hockey season.

Split up by age groups, players will receive instruction and training on skating, stick handling, and shooting in a fun environment.

2024-2025 Placement Registration!

Our placements will be organized by our coaching committee and players will be scored on individual drills and scrimmages by unbiased CYH coaches/experienced volunteers. Players will be placed on the teams that our coaches believe will give them the greatest opportunity for growth and success in the coming season. 

CYH does not make any cuts, and everyone is welcome to play with us!

Players who are unable to attend at least one of the placement sessions will be placed on the most introductory team and all players will be re-evaluated one-month into the season. If there are any adjustments necessary for either individual player placement or overall team sizes, the coaching committee will make a recommendation to the affected team coaches.
