No hockey for two weeks
by posted 10/23/2020

CYH SQ2 parents,

The MA Dept of Public Health has ordered all rinks in our state to close for two weeks due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. It's all over the news today if you want to read more about the order and rationale.

This goes into effect at 5pm today, Fri, Oct 23 through Nov 7.

  • No practices tonight
  • No games this weekend or the weekend after, and
  • No practices for two weeks

I will remove them from our schedule today.

Please stay safe everyone by adhering to COVID-19 protocols. And remember to vote!

Games into Dec, game RSVPs, goalie practices
by posted 10/20/2020

Parents of SQ2 players,

Couple of notifications and reminders ...

1. Our game schedule has been released through early Dec. They should already show in your calendar if you're subscribing to them via Outlook/Google Calendar. They're of course available on the CYH website.

2. For each game, please respond (select the green 👍or the red 👎) to the e-mail that asks you to RSVP a few days before each game. You can also go to our schedule on CYH to RSVP/change your response. Having this information as early as possible will let me know if we need to recruit players to ensure we have enough for each game. It will also save me from sending you an extra e-mail/text message the day before our game. Thank you!

3. We will continue goalie practices on Mondays (7:30pm to 8:45pm) for anyone interested in trying it out and playing in a game. Please let me know and I'll work your player into our schedule.

Thanks to you all for your continued support!

by posted 10/16/2020

SQ2 parents,

If you already have a set of CYH travel jerseys, please bring both home (white) AND away (black) jerseys to EVERY GAME. Also, please bring your home AND away game stockings/socks to every game as well.

If you don't have a set of game jerseys yet, I will bring extras to our game tomorrow (Sat). Please find me and I'll get your player a set.

COVID-19 attendance policies for all VHL rinks
by posted 10/16/2020

Hello SQ2 parents,

Now that games are underway, we'll be visiting rinks throughout our state; each one has different visitor policies regarding COVID-19.

The VHL has all the rink policies in one place so you know what to expect at each rink.

There are PDFs on the right side of that page with league rules as well as individual rink rules.
