Welcome to Cambridge Youth Hockey, home of the FALCONS!

CYH provides a fun and inclusive introduction to the great sport of hockey for kids in Cambridge and our neighboring communities. Whether your child is looking to learn to skate, learn to play hockey, refine their skills in hometown play, or join a travel team, we have a program or team for you. Our home ice for practice and games is Simoni Skating Rink, located in East Cambridge. Everyone is welcome at Simoni - come check us out!
CYH competes with co-ed teams in the Valley Hockey League at the Mite (8 years of age and under), Squirt (U10), Peewee (U12), Bantam (U14), and Midget (U18) levels, and with girls teams in the Middlesex Yankee Girls Hockey Conference at the U12, U14, and U18 levels. The season for most of these teams runs from September through late March; Midget and Girls U18 are split-season (fall only) teams. While travel team placements for the next season happen every year in late March, new players are always welcome at all levels - goalies too!
We also offer instructional programming for younger kids starting in late fall and running through the winter. These programs include the Little Bruins' Learn-To-Play program (held early fall), and our own Learn To Skate, Instructional Hockey, and Learn To Play for Girls, generally starting in early December and happening every Saturday morning through March. You can find out more about these programs via the tabs on our menu, to the left.
As one of the most affordable town hockey programs in the Greater Boston area, CYH offers more ice time for your hockey dollar than just about any other program around. Come join us this year!
